ELIGIBILITY
HI-TEEN USA™ CONTESTANTS

Must still be in high school by the first of January of the competition year.

Contestants must be currently enrolled in high school (grades 9–12) or the equivalent (including homeschooling).

No previous pageant experience is necessary.

All contestants MUST adhere to all pageant requirements, qualifications, and the pageant rules and regulations. Failure to do so will lead to a contestant's disqualification.

Must not be married, never have been married, and never have had a marriage annulled. Must never have given birth to a child, and cannot be pregnant or be a parent.

During the pageant, each contestant must compete in ALL pageant categories.

Must demonstrate good character, integrity, and sportsmanship, and be able to serve as a positive role model.

Must be willing to participate in all official events, casting calls, rehearsals, and competition activities.

COMPETITION CATEGORIES
Each contestant must compete in ALL categories to the best of their abilities to be crowned as a titleholder for HI-TEEN USA™
PERSONAL INTRODUCTION
On pageant night, contestants will introduce themselves in a Hanbok they have personally selected, with a time limit of a maximum of
30 seconds to 1 minute.
This is your moment to shine with confidence, share your story, and captivate both judges and the audience. Judges will focus on poise, personality, and effective communication, making this a key opportunity to leave a lasting impression.
TALENT COMPETITION
On pageant night, contestants will perform their chosen talent within a maximum of
1 minute and 20 seconds.
This is your moment to express your creativity and personality while captivating both judges and the audience. Performances will be judged on confidence, stage presence, and entertainment value, so give your best
and make it unforgettable!
EVENING GOWN COMPETITION
Each contestant will be wearing a 한복 Hanbok that she has chosen for herself. This portion of the competition focuses on showcasing each contestant's pride in her attire, self-confidence, and the way she carries herself on stage.
Each contestant will be judged on her elegance, style, and stage presence. Judges are instructed to focus on the contestant and not the attire she is wearing.
Each contestant will showcase her evening gown of choice during this portion of the competition. This segment highlights
self-confidence, poise, and the grace with which each contestant carries herself on stage.
Judges will evaluate based on elegance, style, and stage presence, focusing on how the contestant presents herself rather than the gown itself. This is your moment to shine with confidence and sophistication, leaving a lasting impression on both judges and the audience.
PERSONAL INTERVIEW
Before pageant night, contestants will participate in a one-on-one interview with the judges. This is a chance for them to share their achievements, passions, and aspirations.
Judges will focus on poise, confidence, personality, and communication skills. The interview is conversational—judges are not evaluating personal beliefs or opinions, but rather how well each contestant presents herself with charm and confidence.
